As the Senior People Partner for Technology, you will act as a strategic advisor to the Technology business unit, supporting an organisation of c.400 employees. Partnering closely with leaders across our technology organisation. This role blends strategic business partnering with hands-on delivery, you’ll advise leaders, coach managers and co-design people strategies that enable innovation, engagement and impact. You’ll be a trusted thought partner to tech leadership, ensuring the people agenda is embedded across your area, from organisational design to leadership development and workforce planning.
Key Responsibilities:-
- Act as a strategic advisor and coach to senior technology leaders on all people related topics, from Org Design and capability to change management.
- Translate business objectives into clear measurable people strategies that drive performance, engagement and retention.
- Partner closely with peers across the people function to deliver a seamless and impactful employee experience.
- Support and challenge leaders to build high performing, inclusive and scalable teams.
- Lead org design and workforce planning efforts to ensure the Technology organisation has the right structure, skills and leadership for growth.
- Partner with leaders and Finance on headcount planning, talent mapping and succession planning.
- Anticipate business changes and proactively develop people plans to support scaling, transformation or new initiatives.
- Coach leaders to strengthen their leadership impact and role modelling to build strong high performing teams that foster a culture of feedback and accountability Identify leadership development needs and partner with L&D to create targeted development plans for tech leaders
- Partner with the people experience team to deliver meaningful engagement programs and initiatives within technology organisations
- Use insights from engagement/experience surveys, attrition data, and other resources to identify trends and build data-driven action plans
- Drive performance and talent processes across the tech organisation – ensuring clarity, fairness and alignment with business outcomes
- Partner with Reward and Finance on compensation decisions, promotions and pay reviews

- Discipline requirements CIPD Level 7 or equivalent experience Extensive experience as a strategic HR/People Partner in high-growth technology or SaaS organisations – working directly with engineering and technology leaders.
- Extensive experience with transformational change projects.
- Strong business acumen and ability to translate business needs into people strategies.
- Confidence working in matrixed, fast-moving environments with multiple stakeholders.
- Data driven decision maker; comfortable using insights to influence, measure impact and drive accountability
- Familiarity with agile, engineering structures, and product development lifecycles.
